Township, Outdoor Discovery Center team up for blueberry picking

People welcome to pick blueberries at Huyser Farm Park for free.

Families quickly picked blueberries at Huyser Farm Park, 4184 64th St., on Wednesday, July 26, 2023, before rain and storms moved into the area.

The Outdoor Discovery Center and Laketown Township partnered for the Blueberry Fields Forever event that introduces participants to the organic blueberries at the park. Storms cut short the time in the fields on Wednesday, but people are welcome back at the park and the blueberries are always free to pick.
