Test your senses on a night walk through Huyser Farm Park, 4188 64th St., from 7:30-8:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4, 2024.

This is the final Outdoor Discovery Center program with the Laketown Township Parks and Recreation Commission for the year.

Take a walk through the woods at night. Use your senses along the walk to find out how much you can feel, touch, hear, and see at night. Learn how nocturnal animals use their other senses to survive in the evening.

Suggested age range is 6 years old and up. Guardians stay with the class.

The event is free in partnership with the Laketown Township Parks and Recreation Commission.

Past programs include Frog Catching at Farview Park, Wildflower Walk at Sanctuary Woods, Little Explorers at Wolters Woods, Kayaking at Gilligan Lake, blueberry picking at Huyser Farm Park, insect investigation at Shore Acres Park and five-senses exploration along Shore Acres trails.
