Drivers along 64th Street between 147th Avenue and 32nd Street in Laketown Township can expect a detour starting Thursday, Oct. 23, 2025.

That section of 64th Street will be closed for storm pipe installation linked to the new Laketown Meadows development. There are 28 units planned for the area on the east side of 64th Street.

The road is expected to be closed for about a week.

Residents will have access to their homes.
