The bridge on the Blue Star Highway over I-196 in Saugatuck should be open on Friday, Aug. 25, according to the Michigan Department of Transportation.
The entire bridge at Exit 41 has been closed since May 30 for reconstruction.
Vehicles have been detoured through Laketown Township during work, increasing traffic on several roads.
All lanes on the expressway will be open by Sept. 8, according to the state.
