Broken merry-go-round removed from park

Parks commission looking at what’s next at Wolters Woods.

The broken merry-go-round at Wolters Woods Park, 6281 147th Ave. in Laketown Township, was removed on Friday, May 1, 2026.

The remaining concrete base and gears have been enclosed in a fence. Park users should stay away from the fenced-in area.

The Laketown Township Parks and Recreation Commission will decide on a replacement.
