Township Board Meeting
February 9, 2028 @ 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm

The township board oversees municipal operations as a statutory unit of government, having those powers expressly provided or fairly implied by state law. The board has discussions and makes decisions through motions and resolutions that are voted on by the board members.
Laketown Township welcomes comments and has two times during the meeting for public comment – one for agenda items and one for topics not on the agenda. A speaker has 5 minutes and should address the chairperson, not individual board members or the audience. This is not a question-and-answer time. The chairperson may choose not to answer a question but refer it to appropriate staff for investigation or address it, if at all, at a later time.
