‘Little Explorers’ next parks program on June 17

Outdoor Discovery Center highlights colors, shapes, textures for preschoolers.

Preschool explorers will take over Wolters Woods Park in the next event hosted by the Outdoor Discovery Center and sponsored by the Laketown Township Parks and Recreation Commission.

The “Little Explorers” event is 10-11 a.m. Monday, June 17, at Wolters Woods, 6281 147th Ave. Children up to 6 years old with their guardians will explore the nature trails, find colors, shapes and textures and even have time for fun on the park’s playground.

The program is free. Registration is not required but appreciated.

Wolters Woods is 37 acres with a creek winding through it, trails and a playground. The multi-use path runs through the entrance to the park. There is paved parking and pit toilets.
