MACC wants your opinions on transportation

Macatawa Area Coordinating Council online survey wants your views on roads, transportation issues.

The Macatawa Area Coordinating Council is looking for your views on areawide transportation issues.

A 24-question survey is now online that is tied into the group’s Jan. 17 open house on its 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan. The open house is Wednesday from noon to 2 p.m. and 4 to 6 p.m. at the MACC office, 301 Douglas Ave.

The survey asks respondents the importance of many transportation issues including road repairs, redesigns and new construction as well as opinions on travels through the area. There are also specific areas for comment on roads including U.S. 31, I-196 and M-40.

The Macatawa Area Coordinating Council is a regional group that encourages cooperation among neighboring units of government on area-wide issues. Membership in the MACC includes Holland and Zeeland cities and the townships of Fillmore, Holland, Laketown, Olive, Park, Port Sheldon, and Zeeland.
