Parking lot temporary site for ball diamond dirt
Aggregate will be spread soon at township hall site.

A corner of the Laketown Township Hall parking lot, 4338 Beeline Road, is the temporary holding site for 110 yards of diamond dust, a mix that includes finely ground stone material, that will be spread over the township’s baseball diamond.
The aggregate was delivered by Dykgraaf Excavating of Holland on Wednesday, Aug. 7, 2024, and will be spread over the ball diamond by Heavener Property Service of Saugatuck later this week.

The Laketown Township Parks and Recreation Commission has authorized work on multiple township parks.
The Old Township Hall, 6280 142nd Ave., is being caulked and repainted. On July 23, Windwood Property Services LLC, spread engineered wood fiber (EWF), a type of mulch, at the playground at Wolters Woods Park, 6281 147th Ave.
The parking lots at Wolters Woods Park and Sanctuary Woods Park, 4750 66th St., will be closed Aug. 20 and Aug. 21, for resealing and striping.
