Participate in online Allegan County survey

Allegan County wants to know what you think of the county and its services.

The National Community Survey is now available online for all residents to take. To take the survey, click here.

The survey should take about 21 minutes and asks questions on topics including how respondents feel about living in Allegan County, safety, services, government performance and parks and recreation.

Results will be used in the county’s planning process.

Some county residents may have already received a direct mailing of the survey. Beginning January 29, a random sampling of 3,000 residents received a copy of the survey. A high response rate for these surveys is critical to maintaining the validity of results and assisting local and national planning efforts, as the anonymous results are used for government service benchmarking.

From February 24 to March 17, all Allegan County residents can participate online in this survey.

After all results are received, the company Polco will compare Allegan County results on the common core questions to those of other communities with similar characteristics, which are the benchmarked results. Polco will develop a full report on the results, which will be placed on the website once it is completed, expected in April.
