Power outage impacts part of township

Service expected to be restored by 7 Friday night.

Southern Laketown Township is included in a power outage that stretches from about 116th Avenue north of Glenn to about 141st Avenue.

Overall, about 6,922 Consumers Energy customers are impacted, according to the power company’s website at about 11:45 a.m. Friday, March 28, 2025.

Service is expected to be restored between 6 and 7 p.m. tonight.

The outage was first reported about 10:05 a.m.
