Scrap tire collection is Saturday, Aug. 2

All Allegan County residents can drop off tires at Dorr site for free.

The Allegan County scrap tire recycling events continue Saturday, Aug. 2, 2025, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Salem Township Transfer Station, 4145 29th St. in Dorr.

Other events are Saturday, Aug. 16, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Casco Township Transfer Station, 123 69th St. in South Haven; and Tuesday, Aug. 26, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Otsego Department of Public Works, 243 N. Farmer St., Otsego.

The events are open to all Allegan County residents.

Only 10 passenger tires per vehicle are legally able to be transported at a time without a scrap tire hauler registration; limit of four agricultural/semi tires per household; tires with rims will be accepted; first-come, first-serve until trailers are full; No dumping.
