Tickets are still available for Felt Estate Director Patty Meyer’s final public tour at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 10, at the mansion, 6597 138th Ave.
“This will be a special event that includes a guided tour followed by a cake-and-ice cream social, and even some beer and wine, during which I will hold a fun Q&A about the restoration project and will give away door prizes,” Meyer said.
The grand prize will be an overnight stay at the mansion.
Tickets are $40 and available through this link. Or visit www.eventbrite.com. Search for “The Last Hurrah – Patty’s Final Tour.” For $5 off, use the code MEMBER2023.
All proceeds for this event go toward the ongoing restoration of the Felt Estate.

Meyer is retiring next month after leading the restoration of the 1920s house built by Dorr Felt. She began the project in 2002 after Laketown Township acquired the site from the state which had been using the area for a prison and the mansion for a state police post.
Private tours for groups of 15 or more are still available. For more details, email her at patty@feltmansion.org.
