Tonight’s Felt concert cancelled due to air quality

The free Felt Estate concert scheduled for tonight, Thursday, July 16, 2026, has been cancelled due to poor air quality.

The performance by Zion Lion will be rescheduled, though no date has yet been set, Elizabeth McEwen, director of the Felt Estate, announced Thursday morning.

“We are exploring options for a rescheduled performance date, and will follow up when we know more,” she said.

Smoke from Canadian wildfires has blanketed the state. The National Weather Service has issued an Air Quality Alert, recommending people avoid “strenuous outdoor activities,” especially those with respiratory illness and heart disease.

The free Felt concerts are outdoors and attract hundreds of people.

The next show is July 23. Lighting Matches, an alternative rock band, brings driving guitar riffs and harmonies.

Kari Lynch performs July 30, bringing a unique blend of Americana, pop-rock, alternative and singer-songwriter influences.
