Laketown Township is introducing a new way to make electronic payments. Laketown Township has switched our online payment processing provider to BS&A Payments which allows for more convenient and accessible payment options, in person and online. In your Summer 2026 Tax bills you will find an insert announcing the new payment options as well.

To go through the website, choose “Building Permits & Other Forms” and click on “Pay Bills Online Here.”

With BS&A Payments, residents, contractors, and visitors will now be able to easily do the following:

  • Pay taxes, permit fees, application fees, and more with credit/debit card, Echeck, ACH, Apple Pay and Google Pay online through your desktop or mobile device.
  • Pay in-person the Laketown office with credit/debit card, Apple Pay and Google Pay with the card reader.
  • Pay over the phone easily and securely using the Interactive Voice Response (IVR) system. To pay over the phone please call (616) 333-8522.
  • Create a customer profile to pay current invoices, print receipts, look up past invoices, see upcoming invoices, and save a preferred payment method.
  • Set up auto payment through a bank account and automatically pay recurring invoices like property taxes.

Laketown is happy to expand our payment options while keeping our fees the same cost as prior years, payment processing fees have not increased.
