DESCRIPTION:Join the Radar Hill Hiking Club for a free walk through Huyser Farm Park at 10:30 a.m. Friday\, March 20\, 2026\, to celebrate Day of Forests. Meet in the parking lot at 4188 64th St.\, south of 142nd Avenue. Dress appropriately for the weather. The walk is about 3 miles on mainly flat trails. The park is 102 acres with several trails\, a pond\, creek\, dunes\, forest and 6.5 acres of organic blueberry bushes. The park has a gazebo and a portable restroom.

DESCRIPTION:This event has been cancelled. No rescheduled date has been set yet. \nHuyser Farm Park\, 4188 64th St.\, welcomes blueberry farmer Ed Morales on Thursday\, Oct. 9\, 2025\,  at 1 p.m. to discuss the issues of the overgrown blueberry bushes at the township park. He will be available to answer questions regarding pruning and care of your plants. He will also be directing us on how to renovate the blueberry bushes. We will be doing a test site of around four bushes to come up with a plan for the park’s blueberries.  Volunteers are needed for one to no more than 2 hours for this project. Bring loppers and/or pruning shears for hands-on learning. \n  \nRain date: Oct. 16.
