DESCRIPTION:The Michigan Department of Natural Resources is looking for volunteers to help remove invasive trees and shrubs from the dune ecosystem at Saugatuck Dunes State Park. \nThe event is 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Sunday\, March 23\, 2025\, at the park\, 6575 138th Ave. in Laketown Township. Participants will hike to the worksite before using hand tools to remove plants. \nNo experience necessary. All equipment will be provided. \nMeet at the main entrance to the park. DESCRIPTION:If you’re looking to start the New Year on the right foot\, join the Radar Hill Hiking Club at 8:15 a.m. Monday\, Jan. 1\,  at Saugatuck Dunes State Park\, 6575 138th Ave. \nMeet at the parking lot and join the Saugatuck-Douglas Trekkers for a hike along the lakeshore. \nWear appropriate attire for the weather and trail conditions. \nFor more information\, visit https://RadarHill.Club \nThe Radar Hill Hiking Club launched in 2021 with the goal to promote the use of trails in the Saugatuck-Douglas area. \nSaugatuck Dunes State Park is about 1\,000 acres in Laketown Township with about 2.5 miles of Lake Michigan shoreline. The park has four main trails ranging from 1.5 miles to 5.5 miles that lead to the lake.
