Winter tax deadline today

The deadline to pay winter tax bills is the end of the day today, Friday, February 14, 2025.

You can pay taxes in several ways:

  • In person at the Laketown Township office, 4338 Beeline Road, from 7:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday using cash or a check. 
  • By mail to Laketown Township Treasurer, 4338 Beeline Road, Holland, MI 49423. In terms of verifying the date of payment, actual receipt of the mailed check is required by Friday, February 14.  Postmarks on envelopes are not valid to determine whether the payment deadline was met.
  • Online through the township website here using either a credit card or an e-check. There is a 3 percent fee on credit/debit cards and $3 fee on e-checks.

After February 14, penalties apply. The last day to pay summer/winter taxes to Laketown Township is Feb. 28.  All unpaid taxes as of March 1 will be turned over to the Allegan County Treasurer for collection.
